Baron Customs Slam Kit for the 2008 - 2012 Yamaha Raider includes Baron's lowering kit and Heavy Duty shock spring is engineered to lower the rear of your motorcycle up to 1-3/4” lower than stock. Lowering the bike lowers the center of gravity, providing easing handling effort and improving control, as well as giving the bike a tough, custom stance. High quality steel construction and precision machined for an excellent fit and easy installation. We recommend the addition of aShorty Kickstand for more stable parking (sold separately). 

The Heavy Duty Shock Spring is designed to allow for the smoothest possible ride on lowered bikes or two-up riding by alleviating bottoming, sagging and diving. The 993 lb rating was determined to be the best possible to suit most riders’ needs vs. the stock rating of 725 lb. With or without lowering kits, this spring offers a vast improvement toyour motorcycle, especially when carrying passengers or heavier riders. Made in the USA.
